As part of Non-GMO Month, the GMO Free Project of Tucson in partnership with Native Seeds/SEARCH, New Life Health Centers, Wellness First, Baja Arizona Sustainable Agriculture, the Envision Tucson Sustainable Festival, and Tucson Food Day, is screening the revolutionary new documentary Genetic Roulette: The Gamble of Our Lives.

When the US government ignored repeated warnings by its own scientists and allowed untested genetically modified (GM) crops into our environment and food supply, it was a gamble of unprecedented proportions. After the film, there will be there a Q&A with GMO Free Project of Tucson Director of Education, Melissa Diane Smith, nutritionist and author.

The GMO Free Project of Tucson, a project of NEST, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is an educational group that raises awareness in the Tucson Community about GMOs (genetically modified organisms) in our food supply and educates people about steps they can take to become GMO free.

 Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes. Just make sure the new attendee lets us know who the former attendee was.

 Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It's not absolutely necessary, but if you do, it makes check-in go a lot smoother.
